Ford is now officially announcing the new Falcon GT, a new production model that is meant to debut in 2019, the company announced today.
The Falcon GT will be Ford’s first new model since the company’s announcement in September of the Falcon 9.
It will be the first car to offer fully autonomous driving capabilities and be capable of hitting 60 mph in 4.7 seconds.
That’s faster than the previous generation Falcon, which hit 60 mph from a standstill in just 2.3 seconds.
The new Falcon will be available in the U.S. for a starting price of $35,000.
It comes with a five-seat rear-drive configuration, a 3.6-liter EcoBoost V6, an all-wheel drive system, and a hybrid powertrain.
It’ll come standard with a 16-inch carbon fiber roof, and the interior is expected to be very similar to the GT I’ve seen, although we’ll see if that is the case before the actual model gets here.
The Falcon GT is expected be available with a turbocharged engine in the near future, which will presumably bring the GT’s performance up to the level of the Mercedes-Benz SLK, which is currently in production.
The company also teased the Falcon GT’s styling, saying it will feature a black color palette with an alluring white interior.
The new model will also have a “supercar” look, as the exterior will have a red paint scheme with a white interior design, and it will have an active carbon fiber exterior.
The car is expected debut in 2018.
