The Walt Disney Co. has confirmed it will make the next installment of the beloved Star Wars franchise, The Last Jedi, available to download and stream for a limited time.
The company has said the app will be available on the iPhone, iPad, and Mac starting Friday, and will eventually be available to stream on Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV.
As part of its announcement, Disney said the free download will include an exclusive, three-minute clip of Star Wars characters from the film, as well as a new interactive video that will allow you to experience the world of the film in a new way.
In addition, the app features a “special” content bundle, including a Star Wars-themed movie ticket, a Star of the Force t-shirt, and a lightsaber-themed Star Wars action figure.
The Last Knight, which is the name of the main character from the animated film The Last Knight franchise, is the title character from Disney’s upcoming Star Wars movie.
It’s set to hit theaters December 15, 2019.
